Biography

Agata Pierscieniak is a graduate of the Wrocław University of Technology, Faculty of Computer Science and Management (1992). She obtained her Ph.D. degree in the field of Economic Sciences in 2004 from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, while her post-doc (habilitated doctor) degree in the discipline of Management Sciences, in 2016, was from the Warsaw School of Economics.

During the years 1998-2018, she worked at the University of Rzeszów (Faculty of Economics), where, in addition to engaging in scientific activities. She coordinated the implementation of projects under the Human Capital Operational Program in 2007-2014. She was, between 2018 and 2020, employed at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, but has since 2020 been working at the Faculty of Management and Economics of the Gdańsk University of Technology.

She has gained teaching experience from numerous training and courses, including training in ICT for Lecturers (2012) and CLIL (2010, 2013) in Great Britain. She is a certificate-holder in Marketplace (2012) and Pearson BCTE Professional Certificate (2014). She undertook research and teaching internships, at Hitotsubashi University (Japan), Huddersfield University (Great Britain), College of Charleston South Carolina, (USA), Instituto de Estudos Superiores de Fafe (Portugal), among others. She actively cooperates with West University of Timisoara (Romania), Jinan University (China), Science B.N.College of Engineering and Technology (India), PI Institute of Regional Research M.I. Doliszniego NAN (Ukraine), SGH Warsaw School of Economics, Czestochowa University of Technology, WSB University in Poznan. Her scientific and research interests focus on issues related to the cooperative potential of organizations, the theory of cooperation, innovation and project management. She engages in researches conducted in various types of organizations. She participated in numerous research projects, including Leonardo da Vinci programs, FP7 and cooperates with the National Center of Research and Development, as well as the Podkarpacie Academy of Entrepreneurship Development
