dr inż. Anna Danuta Dettlaff
Employment
- Assistant professor at Department of Energy Conversion and Storage
Biography
She received her Master of Science degree in engineering with honours in 2013 at the Gdańsk University of Technology at the Department of Analytical Chemistry. In 2013-2017, she was a PhD student in the field of Chemical Technology at Faculty of Chemistry. Her doctoral dissertation was entitled “Nanocomposites based on conducting polymer and carbon materials for supercapacitor application”. In 2015, she was doing a three-month internship in Oldenburg in Germany. She received her PhD degree in 2017. After the defense, she worked in industry for two years in the project entitled "Development of supercapacitor with electrodes made of composite (TiO2NT) nanostructure covered with boron-doped diamond film". In 2018, she returned to the Gdańsk University of Technology at the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics. Since 2019, she has been employed at the Gdańsk University of Technology at Faculty of Chemistry at the Department of Energy Conversion and Storage as an Assistant Professor.
Her current interest domains include electrochemistry and materials engineering in particular carbon materials, electrochemical sensors, and materials for energy storage.
She participated in the projects entitled:
1. “DIAMSEC - ultrasensitive sensing platform for rapid detection of epidemiological and pandemic threats”
2. “2D phosphorene nanostructures - synthesis and analysis of opto-electrochemical properties towards biosensing systems”
3. „Nanocomposites based on poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) and carbon nanotubes as electrode materials for supercapacitors”
