  • Novel Complementary Resonator for Dielectric Characterization of Substrates Based on Permittivity and Thickness
    Publication

    - IEEE SENSORS JOURNAL - Year 2024

This paper presents a novel complementary resonator featuring high sensitivity, low fabrication cost, and improved performance. The proposed structure consists of a complementary concentric square and circular ring resonator (CCSCRR) with multiple splits to enhance the inductance of the resonator. The proposed CCSCRR is coupled to a microstrip transmission line with an impedance of fifty ohms to create a high-sensitivity sensor....

  • Simple Measurement Method for Resistive Sensors Based on ADCs of Microcontrollers
    Publication

A new, complete measurement method for resistance measurement of resistive sensors for systems based on microcontrollers equipped with analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) is proposed. The interface circuit consists of only four resistors, including a resistive sensor and a reference resistor, connected directly to the microcontroller pins. It is activated only during measurements, which significantly reduces power consumption....

    - IEEE SENSORS JOURNAL - Year 2016

WO3-based gas sensors were investigated under UV-light irradiation and at different working temperatures with the object of achieving superior sensitivity and selectivity. Resistance fluctuations in the WO3 layer were studied together with dc resistance measurements. The data were taken in synthetic air, ethanol, nitrogen dioxide, and mixtures of these gases. We conclude that UV irradiation can easily be applied to enhance the...

    - IEEE SENSORS JOURNAL - Year 2008

Praca przedstawia wyniki szeregu zaawansowanych algorytmów przetwarzania sygnałów losowych obserwowanych w sensorach gazu typu Taguchi Gas Sensors. Stwierdzono, że proponowane metody pozwalają wykrywać bardziej efektywnie obecność wielu różnych gazów. W celu detekcji zastosowano głównie funkcje spektrum i bispektrum.
