Description
Data from wind tunnel tests of Aerosesne measurement system installed on NACA 0012 at ETH Zurich wind tunnel.
A 3D-printed NACA 0018 profile, with a chord length of 0.25 m and a span of 1 m, was equipped with 40 pressure sensors recording at 100 Hz.
Fifteen pressure measurement points were located in the first 7% of the chord of the airfoil, providing a high density in the leading edge, which allows to determine the maximum pressure, indicating the position of the stagnation point. The wind speed was varied between 10 m s−1 to 50 m s−1, yielding a chord-based Reynolds number between 1.5 × 105 and 8.5 × 105. The pressures were measured at different angles of attack, in a range of −30◦ to 30◦, together with a 5 degrees-of-freedom balance yielding the lift, drag and moment
Measurement series, vocabulary:

• pressure sensors: If specific pressure sensors were tested, with which type of housings.
• roughness: number of small strips of sanding paper installed on the blade.
• tilted: if the blade was installed upright or tilted
