Concrete temperature measurements of cubic specimens cured under isothermal and semi-adiabatic conditions
Description
The DataSet contains temperature measurements of concrete cubes (150 x 150 x 150 mm) cured under isothermal and semi-adiabatic conditions. The specimens were moulded from six types of concrete mixtures produced in the laboratory conditions. Mix #1: Portland cement CEM I 42.5R and gravel aggregate, mix #2: CEM I 42.5R and basalt aggregate, mix#3: Portland-composite cement CEM II/B-M (S-V) 42.5 N contain silica fly ash and gravel aggregate, mix#4: CEM II/B-M (S-V) 42.5 N and basalt aggregate, mix #5: blast furnace slag cement CEM III/A 42.5N - LH/HSR/NA and gravel aggregate, mix #6: CEM III/A 42.5N - LH/HSR/NA and basalt aggregate.
The concrete cubes were casted in 150 mm polystyrene cubic moulds. For every mixture six cubes were formed, where three were dedicated to isothermal conditions and three were placed in specially prepared Styrofoam containers with 100 mm thick insulation layer. The boxes limited the heat exchange with the surrounding, thus samples could be cured in semi-adiabatic conditions. The original measurement system was applied for the registration of the thermal data for cubes cured under isothermal and semi-adiabatic conditions. The device consists of a central unit and water-proof, digital temperature sensors (DS18B20). Immediately after molding, the temperatures sensors were mounted in cubic centre and the concrete temperature changes were recorded every 5 minutes, thus during 7 days 2017 points of data were registered.
Each file consists of 8 columns. The file has (.txt) extension and contains: concrete temperature measurements for cubes cured under isothermal conditions (in oC, 1st – 3rd columns), concrete temperature measurements for cubes cured under semi-adiabatic conditions (in oC, 4th – 6th columns) and environment temperature measurements (in oC, 7th – 8th columns).
