Floating treatment wetland with Equisetum hyemale - performance in nutrients and potentially toxic elements removal

Description

This data set contains the results of a microcosm experiment with floating treatment wetlands (FTW) conducted under artificial conditions. The goal of this experiment was to determine the effect of stress factors (Pb, As, increased salinity) on the nutrient uptake capacity of Equisetum hyemale in FTW. The ability of E.hyemale to uptake Pb and As was also investigated.

This data set contains the results of physiochemical parameters of treatments as well as the plants' characteristics throughout the experiment. Mass balance calculations for Pb and As are also included.

The entire experiment lasted 50 days, from March 1 to April 21, 2021. The experiment was divided into two phases: the first lasted 30 days, and the second lasted 20 days.
