Gdansk 2020, Obroncow Wybrzeza - pedestrian crossing (E) street - video data - pedestrian, bicycles, vehicles

Description

The data contain video traffic data (pedestrian, cyclists, vehicles) registered at Obroncow Wybrzeza street. Date 12.08.2020, 6:00-20:00. The video camera was installed around pedestrian crossings. Camera was mounted on 7-meter-high mast.

Collected data:

  • the highest volume of vehicles passing the pedestrian and bicycle crossing were recorded at 12:00 a.m. - 01:00 p.m.
  • most pedestrians were recorded between 05:00 p.m. - 06:00 p.m. and cyclists between 06:00 p.m. – 08:00 p.m.
  • avg hourly intensity of vehicles within the pedestrian and bicycle crossing were 1236 veh./h.
  • avg of 149 ped./h on the pedestrian crossing.
  • avg of 21 cyc./h on the bicycle crossing.

This study is part of master thesis: Conflicts research in relationships vehicle - pedestrian and vehicle - a bicycle on selected crossings in Gdansk.
