Measurements of guided wave propagation in CFRP/steel adhesive joints obtained by scanning laser vibrometry
Description
The DataSet contains guided wave signals measured in adhesive joints of steel plates (steel of type S355 with a thickness of 11.9 mm ) and carbon fibre reinforced polymer (CarboDur S1012 with a thickness of 1.24 mm). The samples were as follows: #0 – intact; #1 – 10% disbond; #2 – 20% disbond; #3 – 50% disbond; #4 – 80% disbond; #5 – 100% disbond.
The measurements of guided waves were performed by the scanning laser Doppler vibrometry using the laser vibrometer PSV-3D-400-M (Polytec GmbH) equipped with a VD-07 velocity decoder. The Lamb waves were excited using the plate piezoelectric actuator NAC2024 (Noliac). The excitation was a five-cycle wave packet obtained by Hann windowing of a sinusoidal burst with a central frequency of 100 kHz. Guided wave signals were collected in 23x123=2829 points distributed on the top surface of the CFRP plate.
Wave propagation signals for samples #0 to #5 are given in (.csv) files. Each file consists of 2830 columns. In the 1st column, time vector (in s) is given. In columns from 2nd to 2830th wave time histories (in m/s) measured in 2829 points are contained.
