Description

The data set concerns epigraphy. It refers to the plaque placed in St. Mary’s Church in Gdańsk, that is dedicated to John Brandes, highly influential citizen of Gdańsk, whose official career was crowned with the function of mayor, and his wife Dorothy née Zimmermann. The plaque was placed in the church in 1586. Data set contains two photos of the plaque, transcription of its text in Latin and its translation in Polish.
