Temperature characterictics of a 640-nm 0.9-W laser-irradiated germicidal chamber equipped with a glass platform with 16-65-nm gold nanorods
Description
A manufactured chamber was equipped with a glass platform containing 16-65-nm gold nanorods and irradiated using a 640-nm 0.9-W laser for three selected positions and two sizes of gaussian laser beam, 𝐵1 = 2.5 mm and 𝐵2 = 4.0 mm. Figures reveal numerical calculation results of:
1) the steady-state temperature distributions for the main cross-section of a manufactured germicidal chamber;
2) the time responses of the maximum and mean temperature of the germicidal chamber for each position and beam sizes;
