Innovative Business Transfer Models for SMEs in the BSR +

The extension project builds on the main results of the regular project in both quantitative and qualitative terms. Not only is the scope of the results increased, but additional measures are carried out to reinforce the results and overall effect. The practical application and consolidation of the measures achieved are of particular priority. The capacities of the existing project partners will be increased, and additional regions included. WP 1 will deal with the overall project management and dissemination activities of the extension stage. Additionally, at least 25 companies will be coached and advised for and during the transfer process (WP 2 Coaching). This will also include regions that so far have not been part of the first 30 coachings in the regular project. WP 3 - Train-The-Trainer 2.0 In GoA 3.1 tools have been developed that should ease the business transfer process. The awareness of these tools and the platform will be increased in the BSR. The tools also part of the Train-The-Trainer course, GoA 3.2, that has been developed, tested and further refined. Based on this refined curricula, additional training will take place with the target group being business support organisations that so far have not been trained in the regular projects – thus reaching and involving additional institutions as stakeholders. WP4 – Qualify The qualification measures and courses that have been developed in the regular project will be carried by the education providers, aiming to reach at least another 75 students/companies in the Baltic Sea Region and integrating the modules into permanent curricula of study/training courses. Creation of one new MOOC for the existing web portal. WP5 – Memorandum of understanding to support business transfers (MoU) This work package will build on the policy strategies and action programmes that have been produced in the regular project and will be presented in Brussels in June 2020. The extension stage focuses on the implementation of these policy recommendations. Thus a follow-up conference will take place towards the end of the extension, where policymakers like representatives from regional or national institutions, marshall offices etc. will agree on a memorandum of understanding. Gdańsk Univercity of technology will participate in all WPs. This project is a great opportunity to continue the international cooperation and intense the cooperation with economic environment.
