The proposed project concerns the development of a methodology for the evaluation of selected venturi flow meters in the measurement of two-phase liquid-gas flows. The project includes the reconstruction of the measuring station, adapting it to the minimum diameters of pipes and reducers (50 mm), for which the following standards are available: PN-EN ISO 5167-4: 2005, PN-EN ISO 5167-3: 2021-03.
The collected data will allow the assessment of the measurement uncertainty of the average flow velocity of the mixture, determination of the boundary conditions, initial conditions and reference points for the implementation of the simulation model in ANSYS FLUENT. The obtained model will allow for further verification of the measurement uncertainty and control of the influence of flow disturbances caused by the venturi on the operation of other flow meters.
