Measurement and Analysis of the Radio Wave Polarisation in Off-Body Communications in Indoor Environment
Abstract
The paper describes an analysis of the radio wave polarisation in off-body communications in indoor environment. The measurement stand for polarisation measurements has been shortly described. Five investigated scenarios with different body postures and different antenna placements have been characterize. The vertical and horizontal components of received radio signal have been analysed. The measure used in analysis is a ratio of power of radio signal received by vertically polarised antenna to power of signal received by horizontally polarized antenna.
