Studies on applicability of new solid-phase microextraction and determination of short - chain monocarboxylic acids
Abstract
A convenient approach to monitor the short-chain monocaroboksylic acids (SCAMs) in different samples is gas chromatography (GC) preceded by sample preparation based on solid-phase microextraction (SPME). The fiber with polar coatings were used to extract the SCAMs from headspace of liquid and solid samples. Recently polimeric ionic liquid (PIL) fiber coatings have been proposed to extract volatile organic compounds, minly polar organic compounds, including selected SCMAs.
