Biography

Associate professor (D.SC.Eng.) in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Gdansk University of Technology. Main research areas are traffic modeling and forecasting, transport planning, intelligent transport systems, traffic engineering, and mobility management. A graduate of the University (1994). He worked as road planner in BPBK and Transprojekt Gdański Office (1993-1996). Pposition of assistant in the Highway Engineering Department in 1996. The Ph.D. thesis “Influence of Street Network Structure on Efficiency of Functioning of Traffic in Cities” in 2005. Associate professor since 2020. A member of the board of the Association of Intelligent Transport Systems, “ITS Poland” (2007 – 2015). Manager and researcher in many national and international research projects i.e. CIVITAS DYN@MO, ZEUS, FLOW, BUSTRIP, RID 4D. Author of over 100 scientific publications, as well as co-author of monographs and textbooks in the field of transport.
