Dr Leszek Pawłowski, PhD, lawyer, assistant professor at the Department of Palliative Medicine, Medical University of Gdańsk (Poland), member of Polish Working Group on End-of-Life Ethics and Editorial Board member of the journal Palliative Medicine in Practice.

His research is focused on legal issues in palliative care, hospice and palliative care volunteering, Advance Care Planning and medical law. He is involved in healthcare professionals education (undergraduate and postgraduate) and volunteers training in the field of hospice and palliative care.
