Michał Kwasek works as the assistant in Department of Technical Fundamentals of Architectural Design at the Faculty of Architecture of the Gdansk University of Technology (GUT). In 2009, he graduated from the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering of GUT, and in 2013 he defended his master's degree in Architecture and Urban Planning at the Faculty of Architecture at GUT. In the same year, he began his studies at the Doctoral Studies at the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, in the field of Architecture. Under the supervision of prof. dr hab. Eng. arch. Aleksander Piwek, he prepares a Ph.D. thesis related to the use of cast iron in architectural objects.

He is a PhD student of Architecture at Gdansk University of Technology (Poland) (2018).

He belongs to the Association of Monument Conservators, Gdansk branch.

Since 2016, he is one of the tutors of the Student Research Club "BOSS - The Beauty of StructureS" at the Faculty of Architecture of GUT.
