Description
This is the histopathological image of CERVIX UTERI cell sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Result of the histopathological examination: ASC-US (Atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance). Papsmear contains multiple superficial epithelial cells, partly with inadequate N/C ratio, part of the nuclei have irregular contour, numerous smaller nad bigger groups of glandular cervical cells. Among them numerous scttered granulocytes can be seen.
