Bioelectrochemical detection of COVID protein (RBD) on boron doped diamond – supporting measurements

Description

This dataset includes a series of supporting electrochemical measurements in the topic of bioelectrochemical detection of COVID proteins (RBD - Receptor Bindign Domain) on boron doped diamond electrodes (BDD). The specific receptor (ACE-2 - angiotensin convertase enzyme) is attached via EDC/NHS linkers according to the previously optimized parameters (10.34808/hheg-zg78). Supporting measurements include: stability of the Ag/AgCl reference electrode, influence of the buffer and supporting electrolyte concentrations, influence of electrode annealing. Finally, efficacy of COVID detection is evaluated using EIS in supporting electrolyte only (without redox markers).
