Electrochemical performance of boron-doped electrodes on quartz substrates in Fe(CN)₆³-/⁴- and ruthenium hexamine (RuHex): Observations from cyclic voltammetry and impedance spectroscopy

Description

In this study, we investigated the electrochemical behavior of boron-doped electrodes using two different redox probes: 5 mM ferrocyanide (Fe(CN)₆³⁻/⁴⁻) and ruthenium hexamine (RuHex) in a 0.5 M Na₂SO₄ electrolyte. The electrochemical testing was carried out using cyclic voltammetry (CV) to analyze the redox reactions and kinetics at the electrode interface, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) to evaluate the charge transfer resistance and overall electrochemical performance of the electrodes.
