The data set concerns epigraphy. It refers to the epitaph placed in St. Mary’s Church in Gdańsk which is dedicated to Martin Ramus, teacher of the parochial school at the St. Mary church in Gdansk who died on 24^th of June 1631 in Gdańsk. The data set contains one general photo of the epitaph, transcription of its text in Latin, its Polish translation, and the short biography of the deceased, also in Polish.
