Growth response of Miscanthus giganteus on spent coffee grounds and biochar supplementation into marginal soil

Description

This data set contains the images of Miscanthus giganteus (Mg) growth and development during the medium-term experiment performed at the Gdańsk University of Technology campus. The experiment was arranged in three series of pots. The first two series were designed as pots with marginal soil mixed with spent coffee grounds (SCG) or biochar made of spent coffee grounds with Mg planting. The last Series was designes as soil and SCG or biochar made of SCG mixture (without plants). In each series SCG was added into soil in a proportion of 10%, 20%, and 50% v/v (in total 3 pots in series). Biochar made of SCG was added in a proportion of 2.5%, 10%, and 30% v/v (in total 3 pots in series). In total 18 plots were controlled during the experiment. Measurements were taken at the start of the experiment and every 7 days thereafter. The trial lasted 42 days.
