Description

This is the histopathological image of BREAST tissue sample obtained in University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 1000 slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Result of the histopathological examination: Infiltrating Breast Cancer NST. Within fibrotic areas, the small diffuse foci of carcinoma were found. Significant degeneration of the carcinoma cells and severe fibrosis makes it impossible to assess the extent of the lesion as well as the grading score.
