Description

This is the histopathological image of BRONCHUS AND LUNG tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Result of the histopathological examination: Large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma, Grade 3, pT3, PL3, Large cells (~ 3x the size of small cell carcinoma cells) with abundant cytoplasm, variably granlar chromatin, nuclear pleomorphism, visible nucleoli Immunophenotype: CD56 (+) / TTF1 (-) / p40 (-) Proliferation Index Ki67 : 75%.
