Description
243 different LEGO bricks renders of size 250x250 in 5 colors in 120 viewing angles stored as JPEG images. The renders are used to train neural networks for bricks recognition. All images were generated using L3P (http://www.hassings.dk/l3/l3p.html) and POV-Ray (http://www.povray.org/) tools and were based on the 3D models from LDraw (https://www.ldraw.org/) brick library with LGEO extension (https://github.com/coolo/drunken-adventure). Each brick is centered, scaled to the image size and rotated to the desired angle, the filenames are named following official LEGO brick numbering.
The bricks are rendered using the following colors [color (code)]: Black (0x4D4D4D); Blue (0x0055BF); Cyan (0xA6F2FF); Green (0x1EA03A); Red (0xF7290E).
The bricks were hand picked and consists of [LDraw Category (Number of bricks selected)]: Animal, Land (1); Bar (2); Bracket (2); Brick, Arch (1); Brick, Modified (3); Brick, Round (5); Cone (6); Dish (4); Energy Effect (1); Fence (3); Flag (1); Hinge (1); Hinge Plate (1); Minifigure, Weapon (1); Panel (4); Plate (2); Plate, Modified (11); Plate, Round (4); Plate, Round Corner (2); lope, Curved (3); Technic (3); Technic, Axle (23); Technic, Gear (1); Technic, Liftarm (2); Technic, Pin (6); Tile, Round (4); Tile, Modified (4); Turnable (1); Wedge (9); Wedge, Plate (6); Window (2); Others (124).
