Description

This is the histopathological image of LYMPH NODES tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Clinical description: Enlarged cervical lymph node, 3 cm in greatest dimension. In clinical history: cervical and axillary lymphadnopathy; weight loss - 10 kg in last 6 months; for last 2 weeks fever and night sweats.

Classification code: MATURE B-CELL LYMPHOMAS

Diagnosis: Malignant lymphoma, large B-cell, diffuse, centroblastic, NOS

Result of the histopathological examination: Difuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), NOS, cetroblastic Immunohistochemical subptype (Hans' algorithm) non-germinal center B cell-like (non-GCB/ABC type) CyclinD1- negative staining; useful in differetntiation with Mantle cell lymphoma
