Description
This is the histopathological image of TESTIS tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Diagnosis: Malignant neoplasm of testis
Result of the histopathological examination: Mixed testicular germ cell tumor, which includes seminoma, germ cell carcinoma and yolk sac tumor. Diffuse intratubular germ cell neoplasia in the adjacent parenchyma. Seminoma accounts for approximately 60% of malignant uterus, 35% of germ cell carcinoma and 5% of yolk sac tumour. Germ cell carcinoma with areas of extensive necrosis (about 70-80% of its tissue). The seminoma focally infiltrates the testicle network. The tumor is confined to the testicle parenchyma and does not infiltrate the lining. Vascular invasion has not been identified. IHC: seminoma-OCT 3/4 (+), germ cell carcinoma -OCT 3/4 (+), CD 30 (+), beta HCG (-), Glipican 3 (-), AFP (-), yolk sac tumor -AFP (+), Glipican 3 (+).
