Description

This is the histopathological image of LYMPH NODES tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Clinical description: 5 cm palpable tumor in left axilla. Enlarged lymph node on ultrasound.

Diagnosis: Mantle cell lymphoma

Result of the histopathological examination: Mantle cell lymphoma. Small to medium lymphoid cells. Irregular nuclear border. Inconspicuous nucleoli. Lymphoma cells: CD20+, Cyclin D1+, BCL-2+, BCL-6-, CD10-, CD3-, CD5-, CKAE1/AE3-, Ki-67 40%.
