Description

This is the histopathological image of TESTIS tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Result of the histopathological examination: Two tumors of testis: seminoma and mixed germ cell tumor of testis (embryonal carcinoma and teratoma). Germ cell neoplasia in situ is present (GCNIS). Embryonal carcinoma: CD30+, OCT4+, AFP single cells +, Glypican single cells +, hCG single cells +. Seminoma: CD117+, PLAP+, OCT4+, AFP-, CD30-.
