Description
This dataset contains research data on the development and characterization of catalyst-free polyurethane-wood composites (PU-WC) with a high share of bio-based polyols (BP). The study addresses the urgent need for sustainable polyurethane materials by investigating the partial or full replacement of petrochemical polyols with BP synthesized via biomass liquefaction. The dataset includes mechanical properties (flexural, impact strength and modulus), microstructural analysis (SEM), and thermal properties of PU-WCs with varying BP content (up to 80%).
