Structure of the register of immovable monuments in terms of the number of timber-framed monuments by voivodeship – comparison of 2016 and 2024

This dataset compares the structure of the register of immovable monuments in Poland regarding the number of timber-framed monuments by voivodeship for 2016 and 2024. The number of timber-framed monuments in 2024 is lower than in 2016 (937 items less). The highest number of timber-framed monuments remains in Lesser Poland (2016 – 1059 monuments, 16,83%; 2024 – 1118 monuments, 20,88%). The most significant decrease in wooden monuments is in Pomerania (377 items less), and West Pomeranian Voivodship has the lowest number of wooden monuments. The dataset has been compiled based on the data contained in the Report on the State of the Immovable Monuments in Poland – Monuments entered in the Register of Monuments (Register Books A and C) of 2017 and the Statement of Statistical Data from the Register of Monuments – Immovable Monuments (as of 04.04.2024).
