Description
The data includes video traffic data registered with 13 video cameras at exit and entry lanes of the Lodz Polnoc interchange within A2 motorway in Poland (interchange of motorway A2 and A1), located in the Lodz Agglomeration.The data covers the two days: 29-30.09.2017 (motorway A2).
The motorway A2 in Poland is a road from the Polish-German border in Swiecko/Frankfurt (connecting to A12 autobahn), through Poznan, Lodz, Warsaw to Polish-Belarusian border in Terespol/Brest (connecting to M1 highway). The last section Warsaw - Terespol is under construction. The motorway is a part of the European route E30 connecting Berlin and Moscow (source: en.wikipedia.com).
The video cameras installed on the roads A2 (6-7 cameras) registered vehicles along the entire length of the section. Cameras were mounted on 5-7 meter high masts.
Collected data include:
- Motorway A2 enry lane, direction SE: 10:00 – 18:00, location: main road, min 1548 veh/h, max 2801 veh /h, PHV: 2.5 - 4.1% (point no. 501).
- Motorway A2 exit lane, direction EN: 10:00 – 19:00, location: main road, min 1257 veh/h, max 2477 veh/h, PHV: 3.4 - 13.0% (point no. 502).
This study is part of MOP-DZ research project: RID2B - Modern methods of calculating the road capacity and assessment of traffic conditions of roads outside municipal agglomerations, including expressway roads, financed by the National Centre for Research and Development (Poland) and the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways.
