In 1995, he passed his high school diploma and graduated from the Electronic Technical School at the Technical School Complex in Suwalki. Then he studied Geodesy and Cartography in the field of geodesy and spatial information systems at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, where in 2001 he obtained his master's degree. There he also completed postgraduate studies in real estate appraisal. From 2001, he was a participant in full-time doctoral studies at the Faculty of Geodesy and Spatial Management at UWM Olsztyn. On November 4, 2008, he defended his doctoral thesis entitled "The use of the transformation of points' coordinates  in the process of renewing the minor control during the modernization of land and buildings registration" and obtained a doctoral degree in technical sciences in the field of geodesy and cartography. The promoter of the doctoral dissertation was prof. dr hab. Eng. Idzi Gajderowicz. In 2019, at the University of Gdańsk, he completed postgraduate studies in GIS - Geographic Information System, specialization: GIS analyst.
