The goal of the (eng)aging! project is to promote a societal debate on population ageing and its impacts, to improve quality of life of the older people, their social status and intergenerational relations and to contribute to a change of the negative stereotypes about seniors present in public discourses. The (eng)aging! project also aims to increase public awareness about the topic of population ageing and to create a platform bringing together the Central European stakeholders dealing with population ageing.
The impact of Gdańsk University of Technology is such that achievements of the University in the field of supporting living standard of elderly people will be popularized. The project will benefit the University by financing the participation in the (eng)aging! 5th International Conference on Aging & Technology Fair conference taking place in Prague in June 8-9, 2022 for 4 researchers from the ETI Faculty of Gdańsk University of Technology. The financing will include travel expenses and accommodation.
