Investigation of chaotic ship roll motion for super-resonant excitation frequencies and high amplitudes of response
The request for funds allowing fundamental research in an important area
for naval architecture related to the ship's rolling, which in conditions of
super-resonant excitation manifests the characteristics of chaos,
especially at high response amplitudes. The realization of the research will
develop the fundamental knowledge that further determines the ability of
design of safe and efficient ships.
