The aim of the proposed research activity is to perform experimental tests on wood specimens in order to identify material parameters. Additionally, it is planned to perform laboratory tests to determine the coefficient of static and kinetic friction of the wood-to-wood surface, as well as to identify at least one value of the Poisson ratio. All these experimental studies will be used to build a prototype FEM model of wood.
