Injectable nanocomposite for an instantaneous fixation of titanium implants in a bone with effective antibacterial properties
The scientific objective is to develop a formula and technology to create a nanocomposite that binds a titanium alloys implant with bone tissue, and it is characterized by rapid bonding, effective antibacterial properties, and biocompatibility. The scientific aim is to determine the mechanisms of the interaction of nanocomposite composition and process parameters on its mechanical properties, including adhesion to titanium alloy and bone tissue, functional properties checked as injectability and setting (curing) time, physical, chemical, and biological properties, evaluated by antibacterial properties and osteoblast response.
