Smart Propulsion System

Project "Smart Propulsion System" brings together 7 partners from 3 European countries and has a duration of 36 months. The project aims to increase the efficiency of the ship propulsion system, reduce the negative impact on the environment, increase the durability of propulsion system components, increase operational safety, increase comfort by reducing vibration and noise, and reduce propulsion system operating costs. Tasks covering the scope of the project have been planned taking into account specialization of individual partners. The scientific and research work includes theoretical analyses as well as experimental research and computer simulations. Methodology of research implementation enables verification and calibration of theoretical models based on experimental results. The effects of the work are characterized by their high readiness for implementation in industry. The project is of strategic importance for the professional development of PG employees involved in its implementation.
