Our proposal, under the title EU-ALMPO is based on very innovative features and AI technology and gives answers to crucial subjects such as the effectiveness of ALMPs (Active Labour Market Policies), by improving the policy design of ALMPs.
The EU-ALMPO explicitly proposes the establishment of an EU ALMPs Observatory, a groundbreaking project aimed at revolutionizing the approach to ALMPs within the EU. The primary objective of this observatory is to fill existing gaps in how ALMPs are designed, implemented, and evaluated across EU member states. It is envisioned to produce a framework to guide the policymakers in designing, implementing, and evaluating ALMPs, accompanied by a centralized IT platform and AI tools that will assist policymakers, researchers, and labor market practitioners regarding ALMP design and facilitate a deeper understanding of the intricacies involved in ALMPs and aid in the development of more effective strategies. In essence, the EU ALMPs Observatory is set to become an indispensable tool in the realm of labor market policy, offering a synergistic blend of methodologies, data, technology, and expertise that will empower stakeholders to craft more effective and responsive ALMPs across the European Union.
The Observatory consists of three components:
1.Development of expert-led self-sustainable machine learning system for analysis of ALMPs effectiveness evidence
2. Development of an Intelligent AI tool to bridge the gap between job demand and supply by leveraging key data inputs for policymakers
3: Development of individual intervention pathways recommendation engine for:
• Individual intervention pathways
• Policy design and policy implmentation recommedations
The project includes a lot of research and studies, technology development as well as an experimentation stage
During the experimentation phase of the project, we will undertake a series of tests and experimentations that will lead to a better understanding of the new methodology and tools (created as part of the project) for skills development and broader skills strategies.
The proposed project aims to reduce social inequalities through the development of technological tools (including those based on artificial intelligence) for access to employment and the labour market, supporting GdankTech European presence and recongizability. The project supports the implementation of the 2020 - 2030 Strategy of the GdanskTech, in terms of the following strategic objectives:N3;N6;and Z1.
