Solid Oxide Fuel Cell Using Non-Recyclable Plastic Waste as Fuel

The proposed project addresses the modern world's problems in terms of the constantly increasing demand for electricity and the generation of a tremendous amount of waste, including those that are not suitable for recycling. For this purpose, a combined system of a controlled plastic waste gasification to directly feed SOFC for a highly efficient energy generation will be investigated. The refinement of such a system will allow obtaining ecological electricity lowering the carbon footprint due to the utilization of unnecessary waste and copious amount of harmful atmospheric CO2,
