Optimization of didactic and pro-innovation processes at the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering

The following goals will be implemented under the project: Area Scientific Excellence 1 Improving the quality of academic teaching - Carrying out a series of meetings with representatives of enterprises from industries interested in employing WILiŚ graduates (recognition of the graduate's profile) - Modification of the thematic scope of selected fields of study - Modification of the thematic scope of selected subjects - Conducting a series of competitions for teaching innovations 2 Shaping the social perception of Polish science - Preparing and placing information promoting the results of scientific research on websites and in media - Organization of meetings between representatives of scientific teams and media - Conducting a series of lectures in primary and secondary schools Area Science for innovation 1 Improving the effectiveness of cooperation between science and the economic environment - Recognition of the current and future technological needs of the economic environment through the analysis of generally available industry information and establishing direct contacts with R&D departments of technology companies - Confronting the identified technological needs with the competences of research teams of WILiŚ - Support in the competition mode for selected pre-implementation works 2 Supporting the processes of innovation and commercialization of the results of research and development works, as well as the know-how related to these results, including promotion of good practices in the field of innovation - Organizational support for the process of establishing and maintaining cooperation between science and business - Performing in-depth analyzes of patentability and patent applications for selected results of scientific research or development works, characterized by a high level of innovation and commercial attractiveness 3 Disseminating knowledge about the relationship between science, innovation and the economy - Participation of representatives of research teams in trade fairs or "science to business" fairs in order to present the results of scientific research or development works developed together with representatives of the economic environment. Results will be selected that are highly innovative and commercially attractive, with the highest possible TRL - Promoting the results of scientific research
