The following objectives will be implemented as part of the project: Area "Scientific Excellence"
1. Improving the quality of academic teaching.
Conducting a series of calls for didactic innovations, aimed at improving the quality and attractiveness of selected didactic classes, as well as adapting teaching methodologies to the expectations of modern students.
These solutions may concern methods of conducting classes (e.g. active learning), didactic aids used for this purpose, or innovations at the organizational level.
The action does not assume the development and modification of the teaching programs, but will focus on the development and implementation of new didactic tools.
The action will result in the implementation of at least 20 didactic innovations.
2. Shaping the public perception of Polish science.
Conducting a series of lectures in primary and secondary schools. Scientific achievements and experiments will be presented in an accessible way to interest young audiences in scientific research.
The action will result in the implementation of at least 30 lectures.
3. Developing and implementing a concept for the development of research and teaching staff
Activities will focus on young research and teaching staff, i.e. scientists up to 5 years after their doctorate. The concept assumes the development of assumptions and the conduct of a series of calls for microgrants financing scientific research. This action is aimed at improving the scientific achievements of young scientists in terms of submitting applications for grants financed from external sources.
The activity is not internal training. Microgrants will be planned and implemented independently by research workers.
The action will result in the implementation of at least 20 microgrants.
