The aim of the project is to realize a harness for electrical and electronic systems in a Formula Student vehicle. The work on the realization of the harness assumes a comprehensive design, which consists of a detailed schematic and layout model inside the vehicle. The final stage of implementation is the physical fabrication of the electrical harness, testing and placement in the vehicle. To ensure the reliability the key parameter for the vehicle's electrical harness, it is envisaged to use specialized materials including wires in a cover made of ETFE polymer, which provides resistance to operating fluids and significantly increased thermal resistance. During the realization of the harness, the "concentric twisting" technique will be used, which involves laying the wires inside the harness in structured twisted layers. The use of this method of fabrication will ensure high flexibility of the final design, and thus reduce stresses on individual wires resulting in higher resistance to deformation and greater adaptability. For the created design, detailed tests will be carried out using a dedicated tester to detect anomalies and possible inconsistency with the schematic. During the implementation of the project, project members will have the opportunity to improve their competence in the field of modern cable harness design and manufacturing technologies.
