Affective loop in Socially Assistive Robotics as an intervention tool for children with autism

Projekt ma na celu rozpoczęcie współpracy pomiedzy konsorcjantami oraz wykonanie "proof-of-concept" dla wprowadzenia mechanizmów rozpoznawania emocji w terapii dzieci z zaburzeniami ze spektrum autyzmu, przy zastosowaniu robotów społecznych. Współcześnie w terapii ASD są wykorzystywane roboty społeczne, które w szczególności uczą dzieci reguł interakcji, które potem mogą być uogólnione na kontakty społeczne. W takiej terapii rozpoznawanie emocji pozwoliłoby na lepiej dopasowane reakcje i interwencje terapeutyczne, co może mieć przełożenie na skuteczność terapii. Konsorcjum składające projekt Erasmus Plus chce w przyszłości aplikować o projekt w programie H2020, a projekt Erasmus traktuje jako badania wstępne.
