Accessibility management system for integrated interchanges

The subject of the project is to develop a system for managing the accessibility of passenger boarding and disembarking places, mainly integrated interchanges (ZWP), with particular emphasis on people with special needs. As part of the "Transfer without barriers" project, we propose an innovative approach that allows for an objective assessment of the level of accessibility of the entire ZWP by identifying barriers and facilities for users with special needs. We propose three tools to achieve such a goal: accessibility standards, accessibility audit and inspection, an accessibility map and a tool supporting the assessment process - a database with information on the availability of transport nodes. The proposed tools use the parameterization of space consistent for the entire node in terms of accessibility for people with special needs, allow for the identification of problem areas, provide information on possible actions to increase the level of accessibility, and at the same time constitute a motivational and marketing mechanism for local governments where they are located. ZWP. For people using the interchanges node, we offer an application that provides information on barriers and amenities in a given ZWP. The key tasks of the project include: 1. Development of the concept of the ZWP accessibility management system 2. Identification and description of research objects 3. Development of the concept of databases on accessibility to ZWP 4. Development of an accessibility map concept for ZWP 5. Development of the concept of the accessibility assessment system to ZWP 6. Pilot database development for a selected ZWP 7. Pilot audit on a selected ZWP 8. Development of an application prototype of a map of accessibility ZWP 9. Development of implementation guidelines for the ZWP availability management system Potential recipients of the proposed system for managing the accessibility of passenger boarding and disembarkation areas are: ZWP users (travelers), Local governments, Managers of the transport node components.
