Main objective of research realized within the project is development of the assumptions for using unmanned vehicles operating within the structures of Polish Naval Forces, with particular consideration of Polish Navy and other forces realizing tasks for marine security in the component of national forces.
Synthetic information regarding current knowledge in the area of the planned research: the undertaken subject is a new problem which has been undertaken in national studies on a minimal scale. Meanwhile, worldwide solutions indicate the application of combined architectures of systems operating in marine environment and representing various platforms (airborne, underwater and surface systems). A clear gap in conducted research works and practical applications is visible in this area. It is essential to use the experience in order to develop our own assumptions for devising the possibilities of application of unmanned vehicles and vessels in relation to tasks realized by Polish Naval Forces
