Multifunctional smart composite with integrated self-sensing, self-heating and self-healing capabilities manufactured using 3D printing (SMART-S2H3D)

The overall goal of the SMART-S2H3D project is to develop a new, multi-functional smart composite with integrated self-sensing, self-heating and self-healing functions and to demonstrate that composite conductivity is an extremely important factor in damage detection and condition monitoring. The effectiveness of this approach will be evaluated for different types of composites, different conductive path arrangements and loading conditions. The measurable outcome of the project will be papers published in JCR-listed journals and papers presented at national and international conferences.
