Advanced algorithms for identification of electrophysiological features underlying encoding and recall of human memory in intracranial EEG

In this study, we aim to determine what actions should be modulated by Electrical Brain Stimulation (EBS) and WHEN to use EBS. Our goal is to use broadband intracranial EEG (iEEG) recordings when testing eye movement memory to generate data that answers these questions. We will then apply advanced iEEG processing algorithms and machine learning techniques to determine electrophysiological biomarkers of human memory that can be used to develop new technologies and therapies to improve memory and cognition in brain diseases.
