GINA is an educational project aimed at developing and implementing innovative teaching modules at technical universities in Poland, the Netherlands, and Denmark. These modules will be designed for undergraduate (I), graduate (II), and postgraduate (III) studies, focusing on Green Infrastructure in urban areas. The key topics covered include Nature-Based Solutions (NBS): mapping and guidelines (hydraulics), Biodiversity and the costs of ecosystem services, Climate change and spatial planning issues, Water management, NBS Design, Remote sensing, Floods, and various solutions in water management. The goal is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of sustainable urban development, emphasizing the importance of green infrastructure in addressing environmental challenges and promoting resilient and eco-friendly urban spaces. The above-mentioned topics align with the educational scope of WILIŚ and will fill gaps in the curriculum, strengthening partnerships in the context of subsequent educational and scientific projects.
