Abstract
The paper presents a comprehensive approach to the compensation of phase current distortion of grid-connected power inverters. Four different sources of current distortion are addressed: imperfect grid synchronization caused by the distortion in the grid voltages, voltage fluctuations in the dc link, time delays in the estimation of grid voltages, and the distortion of inverter output voltages due to dead-time effects and related factors.
